Jay Hinton
ROP Professor of "African American Culture and Identity"

Jay Hinton is a graduate of Florida A&M University and has an MBA from Emory University. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and continues to build upon a successful 25-year career in banking and corporate finance. Jay volunteers on the Boards of Directors of the Carver Foundation of Norwalk and the Greenwich Council of the Boy Scouts of America, where his two sons are Boy Scouts. He is also a Life Member of the NAACP, the FAMU National Alumni Association and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Along with his wife and sons, Jay is a member of Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, NY.
